Counselling Service
The Educational Authority's Independent Counselling Service for Schools will be delivered by Barnardo's in our secondary school this year.
ICSS supports Young people when life gets tough. Our ICSS Counsellor this year will be Eilish Breslin and she will be in school every week on a Friday morning.
ICSS helps with the things young people face growing up which can effect their learning and development. Barnardo's supports young people and their families coping with:
- Stress & anxiety
- Changes in the family
- Bereavement
- Friendships and relationships
- Worries about growing up.
If you think your child would benefit from counselling, please speak to Mrs Lianne McCaffrey at the school, who will be happy to chat about the service and how it can help.
The Counselling Service for our primary pupils will be delivered by Relate this year. Our Counsellor, Katie Sparham-Brown, will be visiting the school every Monday.
