Tag Rugby
Some of our lucky students joined Killard school for Tag rugby last week in Newtownards.
Tag Rugby is a non-contact team game in which each player wears a belt that has two Velcro tags attached to it. Attacking players attempt to dodge, evade and pass a rugby ball while defenders attempt to prevent them by 'tagging; (pulling the velcro attached tag rather than full contact tackle)
As you can see they even got to meet Craig Gilroy who plays for Ulster and Ireland. What a day!
