St. Patrick's Day Celebrations 2019
It a was a fun packed couple of days approaching St. Patrick's Day in school.
Middle school kicked it all off on Thursday morning with an abundance of St. Patrick themed activities and edibles. This included candy apples, milkshakes, temporary tattoos, cupcakes, face painting and a photo booth. An enormous 'Congratulations' to Thomas & Kaela who won the penalty kick competition.
Mr McGowan's (world famous) ceili event took place in the afternoon, with live music to dance & sing along to. It was as usual an enormous success with the highlight being 'The Waves of Tory' - where it seemed like half the school were on their feet joining in!
Early Years/Junior school celebrated on the Friday, with entertainment by a world champion Irish dancer. It was a sea of green on the stage when our little dancers showed off their own skills. There was lots of entertainment after the stage show, with lots of St. Patrick's themed sensory play and treats.
