Outdoor Learning at St. Gerard's
We all know the benefits of the great outdoors but sometimes we don't realise how important it is to our mental health as well as our physical health.
Our Key Stage 3 pupils have been very fortunate to benefit from the expert guidance of some real professionals from The Belfast Hills Partnership, Ulster Wildlife and RSPB. They have opened up the fascinating world of Outdoor Learning to us with new activities and knowledge about our natural environment.
Our pupils have also featured in the Belfast Hills 'Our Bright Future' Video and been interviewed about the RSPB,s Birdwatch Weekend Project.
