Welcome to St Gerard’s, a Catholic co-educational special school, committed to nurturing pupils aged 3 to 19 with a diverse range of additional needs.
Each student is referred to us by the Education Authority, Belfast region, and holds a Statement of Special Educational Need.
At St Gerard’s, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, inclusive environment, providing small class settings led by highly skilled Teachers and dedicated Learning Assistants.
This nurturing approach is strengthened by our multidisciplinary team, which includes Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other allied health professionals, who work closely with education staff, external agencies, and parents to foster each child’s development and maximise their potential.
We’ve got a new site for our Nursery and P1 pupils. It is just up the road and is called our Suffolk Site.
Watch our video to show how to get to it from the main site at St Gerard’s.
